Fall inspiration - jackets

I will like to insist on how we look because some of us, although there are so many inspiration sources, we still struggle to put together a nice outfit.
"I dress good, I feel good". But today I can say : I feel good, so I want  to look good. And because I couldn't sleep at all last night, I had planty of time to browse around the internet and find amazing pictures which are stuck in my had now.
Whether we like it or not, the autumn is here and the weather is getting colder and colder. In a way I missed this feeling, it makes me alive... and one of the reasons I was so looking forward for this period, is that I love jackets,  specially the leather and velvet ones . Here are some cool ones which I would like to have one day.

LET IT BEGIN WITH ME..

LET IT BEGIN WITH ME:
"Although we are all the same in not wanting problems and wanting a peaceful life, we tend to create a lot of problems for ourselves. Encountering those problems, anger develops and overwhelms our mind, which leads to violence.
A good way to counter this and to work for a more peaceful world is to develop concern for others. Then our anger, jealousy and other destructive emotions will naturally weaken and diminish." ~ Dalai Lama

How to improve your life?

You will need a lot of time, discipline and patience to be able to find your inside balance. To calm your mind and to feel good about yourself. It's a long road, but I know for sure it worth it. Overall,we do not have to forget about the exterior factors that can help us reach that stage. We need to accept that everything: how we look, how we speak, our ambiance etc...the quality of our life it's a big part in our transformation.
Some tell us how to feel beautiful by letting go of material life and some teach us how appearance help us feel better. In my opinion we can't separate them. You can tell how a person is inside by how he/she is dress, or how he/she walks, how he/she smiles, what make-up she is using or what books he reads. Everything that we do its a reflection of how we are inside. All our choices is who we are.
I'm going to use an example of my own experience to explain what I want to say:
When I started to work on my attitude towards everything that surrounds me and to enjoy the beauty of simple things, I felt this need of changing something around me and about me: redecorating my house with brighten colors, using very light make-up, eating much healthy, or listen to a particular type of music...  I knew that this will help me in a way. And it did! I framed some printed quotes reminding me to calm down, or I set-up a special alarm song ( Michael Buble -Feeling Good ) which made my day start with a positive energy ...  I do not know if it makes seance what I say , but when a transformation comes along,  you begin to feel the need of changing things around you.You start to see things in a different way.
You - it means the inside and the out.
Start to improve how you dress, how your house looks, what you eat and surround yourself only with beauty. What I'm trying to say is not: lets go shopping! Although I beleive in shopping therapy if it's not followed by after-guilt; I say: do things wisely.
I believe in the power of a simple paint/print on the wall which can lift your mood, or wearing a special dress, or lessening a good song.... this is what I believe in :  BEAUTY.

How and where to start? with simple things which are essential.

 Steps of improving your life:

1. Body effort and all types of exercises will help you gain more energy. It doesn't sound logical, but it is. You will feel another type of fatigue. I suggest you should do it ealry in the morning of afternoon.

You can  skate, dance, do some yoga, run or ride a bike. Anything you enjoy doing.

2. Eat healthy

There are so many blogs and websites where you can find out how we should eat. Start reading them. It takes 15-20 minutes.

3. Take care how you  look

We should definitely think of this!!!

4.  Decorate your office or house with objects you like and make you feel better

I guess that everybody know about this, but how many of us are really taking this serious? Stop making excuses and ask for more from yourself.

If you are on the same page with me, then feel free to add more suggestions or comments.

Till next time do not forget: discover the beauty of life.

Today's Quotes

Not all of us can achieve big goals in life, nor have great stories to tell, but we can make a difference by doing small things that can change everything. Sometimes you're simply  happy when you've done the most common thing ever because it's just the right thing at the right moment.

Quote of the Day

Every time I feel a bit sad, moody or angry I click on Pinterest or Iheartit and I look for a quote to read which will cheer me up, like the ones I posted today. For me it works. Try it . Save those who you really like and read them every time you feel like.
For a long time I wanted to print and frame some ( my favs ) and put them on my wall. I bet they will look good and they will help me keep a calm state of mind.  I know that its not something new for you and I did not came with something very original, but I hope you will find a particular one which will help you one day and then my mission is complete.
Do you have other ways of using this quotes ?

Have a calm day today !

Daily wisdom: What we need to know

"Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know." ~ Pema Chodron.

This being the case it is pointless fighting against the universe, against the people we perceive as causing us pain, it is pointless getting anxious, doubting, worrying or living in fear.

Resistance will teach us nothing, it will take us nowhere, it will destroy our happiness. Resistance and fear serves only to fuel the situation and attract more of the same into our life until we "SEE" what we need to see and "LEARN" what we need to learn.

That which we perceive to be the problem is in fact the path. The path to spiritual growth, understanding and through mastery over situations - the path to deep peace and serenity.

If you are faced with challenging people or situations and want to shift it quickly, you must work with it, not against it. Happiness doesn't fall in our lap - we must be willing to work for it.

A prayer for those who believe in it's power :
Dear God (Buddha/Higher Power) I am faced with a challenging situation and I'm not sure what to do about it. The harder I try to remove the problem or fix it the worse it seems to become. The more I run from the problem, the more it keeps showing up in other areas of my life. I am exhausted and I need your help.

Forgive me for I am still learning that I do not need to do this on my own. I am still learning that it is my own mind and perception that creates and fuels the situation, therefore it cannot also be the answer. I need a healed perception.

Please show me what it is I need to see, teach me what it is I need to learn. Please reveal to me how I may take this situation and use it for the greatest good. I place my complete faith and trust in You.

I accept nothing less than Your will for me. Please help me to quieten my mind so that I may hear Your guidance above all the noise and distraction in my life. Today I will keep a space open for You and know I am following Your will when I feel deep peace and serenity. Thank you in advance for Your guidance. Thank you in advance for the miracle I am about to receive. Thy will be done. Amen

Daily wisdom : RIDING THE WAVE OF TRUTH

"I care about truth not for truth's sake but for my own." ~ Samuel Butler.

One of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves is to admit that we are not perfect. We are human and we frequently make mistakes. But when our mistakes affect others, it's important that we do not pretend they never happened, that it doesn't matter, and we must especially be careful not to justify our actions. This serves only to hold us back on the path of spiritual growth and mastery.

Guilt is a heavy burden to carry indeed and we can often drown in it.

Step 10 allows us to ride the spiritual wave from new heights. It allows us to take personal inventory and when wrong promptly admit it. When we admit to the error and take responsibility for it, something powerful begins to manifest within our inner being. The path becomes lighter, easier, and we free our energy to move closer to our Higher Self and Higher Purpose.

Today I summon whatever courage is required of me to stare truth in the face. I develop pride and power by owning my mistakes in the same way I do in owning my achievements. I make amends when I do harm and I enjoy the spiritual high that comes from right action.

Motivational Lists

I suggest you should print it or save it on desktop and from time to time to read it carefully.
You can even write them on small peace of paper separately,roll/fold them, put them in a box/jar and pull out one every day.
Keep this important messages into your mind every day. You will feel the difference of how you see things.

T h e P u r p o s e

We all have a purpose in life.
Mine is : To be the best version of myself .

My life as changed a lot  in the last 6 mounts: living alone (after 7 years of relationship), moving back into my flat and  deciding to close my shop and open it online. So, here I am living a new lifestyle and facing new experiences. It's not easy to see yourself starting over again, alone this time, but there's always a good part in everything: more than ever I am much more focused of improving myself.

So starting today, this blog will help me and those who want  to join me, transform my life into a better one.
From how we think, to how we dress... I will show you that it's possible. If you want a better YOU, than this is the moment when you should start wanting more from yourself and realize that it's up to us how we live.

It took me 3 amazing weeks of backpack traveling to realize how much life has to offer.
If we have desires, than we shouldn't be afraid of make them real.
When you see your dreams come true, there's the best feeling ever, then is where you are truly happy.
At least this is how I am/feel.

I want to learn how to take risks, to see all the best parts in the worst situations, I want to be an example, I want to do crazy stuff and be free of all negative emotions. I want to be proud of myself and to be able to control my mind/emotions, and not them controlling me.

I can't afford  to complain and I do not have to blame someone else for my mistakes or failure.
I want to learn how to trust Life and my own Instincts.

Welcome to my Journey to a better ME/You!!!

HOMEMINT - Justin Timberlake and Designer Estee Stanley

I have to admit that I was a bit shocked
to find that Justin T.and Estee S., launched
a home products line. A collaboration named

I love the entire collection, piece by piece.
You can easily tell that they were designed by a woman and a man, which brings a perfect balance.

It's amazing how much Justin T. transformed and how many
good quality projects he is involved in. And knowing  now
that he is into interior design ..oh.. allow me to say:
that he is the perfect man.
He also sales his own pictures. Which are not bad at all.

What else can I say: he is doing he's best and he is good at it!!

Diary vs Blog/Facebook

photo via WeheartIt

We used to keep all our thoughts and memories to ourselves..
in a small notebook, called : Diary.
It was a monologue helped by
ink and paper.
We liked it a lot because it was always hidden, it was just ours
and nobody else had access to it.
We were the only ones who knew what was going on in our mind and soul..
and we were afraid to share it. We wanted to keep
all our happy/bad moments safe....
We were so happy to read it after a period of time
and analyze it. It was our Treasure.

What happened?

Now.. it's opposite..
We share absolutely everything to everyone.
We post it on blogs and Facebook wall.
We take pictures or share a song.
We are like a open book .. anybody can read and know everything
we are, feel or dream of. The thing is that we change the reality a bit, we wrap it so it will look good.

Question: why we do this?

Due to many reasons, I guess.. sincerity, frustration,
jealousy, show off, loneliness, fun, professional reasons etc.
Definitely, internet was the "small wheel".

Question: is this OK?

I don't think so ... at least for those who are too exposed.
Keep all the problems to ourselves is, in a way, dealing with them.
It's healthy to let a friend/lover/family member/psychologist  know about them...but to strangers?

Probably, one of the main problem that brought us here is that we aren't satisfied if one person is there for us..
we aren't pleased if you receive feedback just from your close one.. we always need more...

Of course we feel great to see how many people care,
how many know about us, like what we do, or admire us....
But, this not reflects in our everyday life? Don't we find
ourselves fighting with lovers because he/she wasn't
too excited about our small achievements?

Are we happy of how we look, or do ,if no one reacts to it?

I see myself in this desperate situation of trying
to feel my life with a lot of things ( so I can forget about others)as posting everything I think of on my FB wall,
and trying to stop this because this brings other negative
side with it.

Suggestion: close your blog/Facebook or any type of online
communication for at least 1 week. Observe what happens.
You might discover how many moments you've missed.

We should do this at least twice a week. To listen to yourself,
to focus on your own feelings and learn how to keep
a secret.

The Secret: keep it simple.

Absolutely Fab inspiration

As Audrey Hepburn used to say..."I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and... I believe in miracles."

This is one of the paragraphs  from Absolutely Fabulous Blog which captured my attention and what Diana & Alina believes in . It took me 5 minutes to check their blog, Facebook page and to participate at one of their Fairs to realize how lovely they are. So I started to check their newest post and pics daily.  I like their concept, image and most of all that they are full of energy and well dress all the time.
I'm proud to find my products in their amazing pictures... every time when they come to Cluj they have to buy something, which is very nice.

So, with their indirect support  and with A. Hepburn's words in my mind I keep trying my best to look better with everyday. The summer is here and if not now, than when?

I wish you all a lovely weekend.

Pleaded Skirt on my mind

Everyone knows that this years fashion color trends  are nude and pastel: yellow, mint, light blue and peach. I like mint a lot and surprisingly I started to have a thing for yellow, which I never liked. But that's the beauty of fashion: on one point you might wear something you had it on Not-to-wear list.
Until recently I never thought I will look so good in long and pleated skirts. I already have 5 of them  and I can't stop myself looking for more... They fit with leather jacket, as the first picture ( which is my favorite one) with classic jacket, t-shit or any type of tops... I always add a nice belt to it, preferably one that has a bit of gold in it .. and what I like the most is the feeling you have when you wear it and the texture of the material; is like I fly ... what do you think about this new trend?

Home accent - Flowers

Few more days and we officially get into the Spring Season. There are so many reasons why we love the Spring... I won't start to name them, as they are too many, but I will tell you one of my favorite one: the flower shops are filled with flowers. So, I start to have this urge of decorating my house and shop with flowers. Which I already did.
A person who loves interior design must agree with me that there's no such thing as "a house without plans/flowers". I love them whether they are in vases or planted, in gardens or in their natural habitat.
I found this beautiful selection of images on Melissa Loves's blog. The beauty of this arrangements stands in the simplicity of the bouquet.  I'm so looking forward to raise some money and get some vases with orchids and tulips.  I bet they will look amazing.
Have a good week and a lovely 1st of March.
