Organizing your Studio

Hello my lovely readers. I know you are reading my blog and I appreciate it ( it's a good feeling to see how many people watch my blog although they do not leave comments;I don't mind..I'll do it for fun anyway ). Today's post will be about how we can organize our studio at home if we are into crafting. This Friday I couldn't stand seeing my messy crafting desk in the living room where all my friends were siting for a drink, and because I'm working from home, staying all day in my bedroom where the walls are painted dark purple, I had to move my working desk somewhere closer to a window; and so I did. I moved my little studio with all my tools, buttons, ribbons etc in my bedroom and my working desk in the living-room. It's much better. So, I though it's a good idea to share some pictures of how others organized their little corners. I dream having a studio like the one above and I know that one day I will have it. For now it's all about space which I don't have, too many things in a little flat..but one day I will have my own room where I can go wild. I realized that it's almost impossible to keep all so shipshape ( they look so good in the picture) but it's so important for each item to have his place so you can know where to put it back. How do you keep your storage?

Mushrooms - You should try this recipe

I always wanted to make mushrooms in Oven at home and yesterday I made it happened.....Undeniably a success!!!! You should try to make it and I hope it will taste the same , because it's easy to make and so yummy.

All you need to have is:
-big mushrooms ( without stem )
-Bacon
-Pesto or Guacamole ( if you have)
-Rosemary
-Cheese ( I put a Romanian cheese called "Branza de Burduf" but probably the best would be Blue cheese or Bre)
-Basil

It's simple to make. Put a cooking foil in pan and heat it. Soak a little the mushrooms with a bit of Pesto/Guacamole and add some Rosemary. Leave it to cook for 10 minutes. In the meanwhile you fry the bacon just for few minutes. Take off the pan and add the bacon and leave it in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. In the end you add the cheese and let it rest for 5 minutes in till you cut the Basil which will be add only when the mushrooms will cool down, otherwise they will get brownish color.

RECreate

ReCreate website is a great source of inspiration if you like vintage objects and you just don't want them stand there on a shelf. I have a old suitcase exactly like the one which was transformed in a chair. It looks amazing. After discovering this site I will check what objects I have that can be transformed.

Not very long ago I discovered the fabulous world of Bags ...and since then I have my own collection..I never count them but there are at least 25. You can call it like that if you have more then one..hehehe... Love the leather and vintage ones; and I have this feeling ( like everybody does) that I don't have enough. That's way from time to time if I don't like a particular bag anymore I put it on sale. And with 2 sold bags I can buy a new one. Yap.
Hope you have a great weekend, as mine started very good: I'm at my parents house where the garden is full of roses and a smell of fresh strawberry jam brings back childhood memories. I saw my grandmother and cousin; play with my dog, some shopping, good food and tomorrow back in Cluj where some friends are waiting for me to get out for a picnic. What are your plans for this weekend?
