Happy Decor Boutique

I can't believe that I'm writing this post from my shop. I'm happier than ever and I'm very nervous. Things turned very good: the opening was a success, except my clumsy speech, the products came in time and they look great; and the windows are so pretty. I had my family and friends close. They made my day perfect in every way.
It's so strange to be used to see your dreams only in your mind and suddenly it's real. I have this feeling that everything is so familiar, as if I had this shop for a long time. I was surprised of so many amazing massages on Facebook and I feel  great to see the reaction of those who visit my store. I still have to add some shelves here and there, to fill some corners or hang more paintings on the wall, but I have plenty of time to do it from now on.
I will post more picture soon, better ones this time (this were taken in hurry and some made by my boyfriend). Till next time, I wish you a great week as mine started very good.

ZGallerie

I spent a lot of time lately trying to find products I could bring into my store. And ZGallerie is one of those companies I wish I could afford to have. Probably in the future, at least I hope so.  They are so perfect and they can definitely change the look of your home. They are simple and in the same time sophisticated. The first one is my favorite and it could look so chic in my hallway on my white mini bookshelves and cream painted wall. I have prepared a beautiful surprise soon ( not yet sure when) for those who will visit my wonderful Boutique. I hope I made you interested. Have a nice Tuesday. xoxoxox

The Artist in his studio

I never considered myself an artist, but I'm attracted to the feeling of being one. After a long break, I rediscovered the lovely smell of oil paint, the thrill of playing with the colors and the sensation beyond description of what comes with it.. Oh, how I missed this moments and it's so damn good to be able to do it again. I could live without creating (not for a long time), but it wouldn't be as half as intensive, fun and exciting . I wish I could just close myself in a studio, turn on the music, take my brushes and pallet, and forget about modern life. Unfortunately, we have to earn some money to be able to survive. This was the main struggle of many artists during history.
But I really really hope that from now on I will be able to do that once in a while.
Till next time: I hope that you, my dear reader, will have the chance to do what you really like, even if it will be for a short period. Have a lovely Sunday and a easy week.xoxox

Although, the weather during  daytime is still warm, we all know that the Fall it's here. I really do not have a favorite season, but because of the events involved in the next few months, it will have a stronger meaning to me. It will be "that Autumn". Changing the job, opening my own store, moving, new plans, being able to create again and so on so on... I'm so grateful that I've accomplished so many things by now and to be able to look forward to what life will bring me next. I fought hard for what I have and I scarified many things, but I can easily say: It was worth it!!! I never thought I will say this so soon: I'm happy with who I become, I'm calm inside and I know that I'm on my way to become a better person with each passing day. It's possible and it's only up to us.

Paint on the wall

I love those houses filled with paintings, illustrations or anything that can be framed and look good. It gives to the house a personality and it tells you a lot about the persons in the house. A empty house = empty soul. This is how I see things. All the homes in which I was ( England or Ireland) I saw at least one paint and I wish that could happen in Romania also. That's way I will have a lovely collection in my store just for those of you who love and appreciate a bit of art in their space. I've restarted to paint and I feel great. So, those of you who read my blog- I know that most of you are Romanians - be brave and come visit my shop and let me know what would you like to have on your walls... I can help you choose or make one exactly how you wish. I look forward to see u in October. xoxox

Nora Rochel and Sabrina Meyns

I discovered tow amazing designer who transform the world of jewelry in a real ART.

The first one is Nora Rochel who captured my attention long time ago and she still reminds one of my favorite jewelry designer. "Wearing Nora Rochel‘s rings turns one‘s hands into small landscapes and gardens"

And the second one is Sabrina Meyns. "Sabrina creates incredibly delicate and intricate jewellery and sculptural pieces using handmade paper and precious metals, crossing boundaries between these two materials by combining them in innovative ways."

Chester city

Sunday was a full day with Non-Stop walking. And as promised, I posted some pictures of this beautiful city called Chester. The architecture is stunning and rich in decorations. It's a great place to visit and take pictures, especially early in the morning before the streets get very busy and crowded. The shopping was great and my legs were killing me as I had to walk for miles to reach a big craft supplies store. But when I arrived there....ohh I forgot about thirst, hunger or fatigue.
But that passed and here we are all starting our week. This day started pretty intense: I've been told that one of my favorite actors Andy Whitefield from Spartacus, died yesterday; and last night one of the cats had a "good" dinner in the living-room ( a crow- so imagine how the room was: full of feathers. Horrible view). What can I say: life can't be perfect.
I hope this week will be a good one for all of you and for me also. xoxox

Deadly comb- Shabby Chic & Antique

Here I am in UK (Frodsham) enjoying a cup of tea, some peanut butter and listening to BBC 2 who are playing beautiful songs dedicated to those gone on September 11. I can't believe that 10 years have passed since the terrorist attack. Many of you probably already read about it and everybody is talking now, so I leave this subject behind. I would like to share some photos from yesterday. As mentioned in the previews post, I am passionate of Shabby chic and antiques. And when I find them in the same spot, it's hard for me to resist it.
I really envy British people because they have their entire country filled with beautiful stuff. Every time I come here, I definitely have to buy something. That's way I never bring a lot of money with me, otherwise I will spend them all. This time I was focused in finding nice framed paintings; and of course I bought 4 small ones. There were so many other things which I wanted to have but money and space are an issue for me this time. When I have a craft store just across the street from the antique stores, than I have a big problem - choosing which one is more important. This time I have to supply my studio with craft tools which are so hard to be found in Romania.
Last 2 days were amazingly beautiful: sunny and warm. So I walked a lot, I drank Gin&Tonic in the garden, I fell asleep in a huge hammock and I cooked Chinese; what a life !?! Today some more shopping in Chester, which is a beautiful city. I will take some pictures and posted. I wish you a beautiful Sunday.
