I want to ride a bicycle

It doesn't matter how much the world evolves and how different the cars can look , a bicycle is still a bicycle and it's fun to ride , of course in a save environment . I love them and I find them so funny , cute , helpful , easy to use and very very cheap .... I've been to Amsterdam and it was so nice to see so many people using them . The streets were full of bikes . They even changed their purpose : you can use them as plants racks , or just as decorative object ... in America I've seen the craziest way of designing them. If only Romania could be a save country to ride a bicycle . If you want to get killed just buy a bike :) . I hope that one day I'll have my pretty flower-power bicycle and have a nice stroll into the wild where the air is breathable . Vita Bella !!

Luminosity

I would like to continue to promote some talented artist found on deviantart .This evening I found her : Lois van Baarle . She's doing a fantastic job playing with light and colour in such a way . She is mastering the technique of shadowing , brushing, blending and drawing on an equal level ; a high level . Very rarely you can find such an atmosphere in an illustration . Congrats for her ! Like it ?

Manipulation

Great artist . I always wondered where can computer manipulation can get . I still appreciate better a peace of art made by hand than a computer technique , but I admire the creativity and perfection of this type of illustrations . This artist leaves me speechless .

White is my favorite colour

Oh, how I've missed the blogging world this week . How are you ? what have you done lately ?
I've been to Austria this week to ski a little , actually a little more . The view from 3500 m high was spectacular and the number of ski slopes overwhelmed me . It was white wherever I looked.
So, still having the same nice feeling of space and luminosity I made a selection of interior design ideas of how to use white . I advice to use white in at least one of your rooms, if you're that type of person who can keep clean ( I have too many things in my house and I use them all , so I could never have this beautiful looks ) . The white is giving you a peaceful , calm , warm and clean look . It will always extend your space and it will brighten the house. I like in particular the first picture and I would like to have an attic like one in the last photo . Of course the other shots are amazing too . Which one is your fav ?

Anthony Harmon

After a post more girlish , I said I should come-up with something more powerful , manly ( you can tell that the illustration below are made by a man's eyes , hands and mind ) . There are full of energy , straight , bold and colorful . Also the subjects are common with a guy passion . I leave this to your judgment and I welcome you into Anthony Harmon's world . I came across his deviantart page an year ago and I was fascinated by his computer skills and the quality of his images . So full of details and elements , in an amazing perfect lighting . Like it ?

Dolls by Marina Bychkova

Believe it or not , this are real dolls which are painted and photographed . I haven't seen such a mastery . They are incredibly real and beautiful . The artist name is Marina Bychkova and you can have a look on her site www.enchanteddoll.com . It's so interesting to see how art takes so many shapes . She's very very talented and owing a huge capacity "patience " . I would love to see her art peaces live . I'm waiting for opinions .

Food Photography

It's time to post some amazing pictures with food arrangements. In my opinion only few photographers can take good pictures with food . This pictures are just great . I found them , of course on Flickr , in Cannelle-Vanille's photostream few months ago and I'm still having a look once a while to her page, I can't get enough .... hopping that I will improve my cooking this year , I leave you to stare at this pictures which will definitely make you hungry : Bon appetit !!! I'm already hungry just posting this images .

Frames sets

A friend of mine called today asking me to help her decorate her new flat with some pictures . I was so happy that she thought of me to do that . I am crazy filling-up the house with frames and pictures . My house has so many picture frames and there are still not enough ( the walls are still empty as it is very hard to drive a nail into the them ) . So I quickly tried to found something nice from Flickr , for her to have a look . I found this amazing pictures on moline, catching up slowly's page . I love her settings ; full of life and matching perfectly with the ambient . What do you think ? would you like to have something like this in your house? I hope I'll have time to arrange something similar soon as I have some drawing from some kids which are amazing and I'm sure they will look great on my walls .

Eddie Ochoa -Brownboots

3 years ago I discovered the never ending source of inspiration ( like Flickr , Blog and others ) named : DeviantArt . This page has millions of viewers everyday and lots and lots of good artists . I have my own page Mihaela8 . I use to look for new talented artists almost every day , but those times are gone as I have a job and I started to blog . But, from time to time I like to be in touch with my old habits and to have a look and see what direction art is taking . The artist shown today is incredibly interesting , original and powerful. I like his style a lot . His combination of colors , lines, symbols and metaphoric elements "lives me with my mouth open",it amazes me. His name is Eddie Ochoa and you find it as ~brownboots .

Review of 2010

Oh my dear friends , it's been a full year for me and I hope the next year , 2011 , will be as brilliant as the one that just past .
I would like to take a moment and remember all the moments which filled my year with memories.
1. I moved from Dublin to Bucuresti where I leaved with my brother for half a year . A period full of new friends , laughter , photo shooting , make-up , Adobe Photoshop and so on
2. Being far away from my boyfriend I decided that its better to move back to Cluj .
3. I accepted a part-time job offer which became a full time job .
4. I traveled twice to England and Ireland
5. We decorated my old flat which became our little Nest where we feel so so good
6. I discovered the Blog which turned out to be an every-day-inspiration
7. I started to design accessories and participate at 2 Fairs which end up been so fun and successful

This are the big things that happened in 2010 and there were so many everyday events which made my life busy . Of course there were some hard days and bad memories , but there were and there always will be present in our life ; I lock them somewhere in my memory as safe as I could and I will keep them there till time will make them vanish . But all in all , I feel so grateful to draw a line and see that the number of good memories is by far bigger that the negative moments .

I really hope that 2011 will bring me at least the same percentages as the last year .Also be able to cope much better with all the problems ahead and improve my life style .
