It's hard to make your own Thai food in Romania . But, with a little effort everything is possible .
So , Wednesday Thailand came into my kitchen .My brother dropped by on his way to Bucharest to have a look how the apartment was decorated.

Wedding Ideas

Lately I was surprise how many friends of mine got married, even those whom you never thought they will say :yes . Probably is the age which push us to take this step in our lifes , maybe is love and the need for security , maybe we get bored or we just feel courage enough to say "why not?". We all dream having our perfect wedding day . I came across this web page (Once Wed) and not only that the pictures are just great , but it shows us how easily we can transform our wedding in a ferry teal story by just add some creative ideas . If Romanian could be so creative , I would love to be a wedding photographer and I will accept to be your wedding photographer without hesitation.

This are the best Food pictures I've ever seen . I call this "art" . Love the atmosphere, light, colours , the human insertion...all of it . Sorry but I didn't kept a track of the artists , so I don't know who's the artist .

19 Steps In How to Enjoy Life

From the same amazing blog ( Time Warp Wives ). I can't stop reading it and post it on my blog .

With all the things of life that might be stressing to us, sometimes we forget how to enjoy life. The following list will help you to make small changes in your life, so that you can again enjoy it!

1. Learn to be positive!
If you keep moaning about your life, other people will only notice the bad aspects of your character and categorize you as a person who is 'Boring' - or worse! Who wants to spend time with a wet blanket! Go to places where people are positive and support you with positive thoughts.

2. Be generous. A little generosity goes a long way. Give and people return the favor to you and you will be known as a generous person.

3. Make a list of all the things you want to do and do them! If you've always wanted to audition for theater, then go ahead and do it! This will help to reduce 'hanging around' and wishing. This even applies if you want to be an astronaut : you might not effectively become one, but becoming savvy in astrophysics and space will make you realize that you're capable of it.

4. Keep trying. One of the key things that you need to remember is to never be discouraged; failure is a part of life, and it happens naturally. If you are so disillusioned that you never want to try again, at least be comforted by the fact that you made an attempt.

5. Stop doing things that you do not enjoy. Make a list of the things that you are doing that you don't enjoy, and try to stop doing them. Naturally, this shouldn't mean that you should drop out of school if you don't like studying, but you might consider working for a new company if you are constantly stressed and pressured by your job. If it's not possible to stop, try to see the positive side of those things and find ways to make them entertaining. Nobody enjoys cleaning the kitchen fan or the toilet, but if you do these chores with full awareness and make them into a meditation, you will be surprised how quiet your mind will become and how much happiness these chores will give you.

6. Find a hobby. You might take up collecting stamps or coins, or you might learn more about photography or art. You don't have to spend your entire life doing it; the whole purpose of the hobby is to vary your routine and do something worthwhile.

7. Stop watching TV or at least limit the amount of time you spend on it. Watching TV is passive entertainment and enjoyment in life comes from trying and doing things yourself instead of watching other people do things. Watching people swim is not the same as swimming. Watching other people hike or climb a mountain is not the same as hiking or climbing mountains. This is pretty obvious but still many people prefer second hand experiences to living life to the full. The same goes for playing TV or computer games for hours on end. Go out and do something. You will feel healthier too.

8. Enjoy feeling proud. If you're proud of something be it: an essay, a new deck you built, a promotion, or a song you composed. Hold on to it for dear life, because there's nothing more important than maintaining your self-esteem. Improving your self esteem increases your confidence and is a first step towards finding happiness and a better life.

9. Stay healthy. Make part of your life eating right and exercising, because it helps keep the body running at the top of its game.

10. Be open to change. Changes in your job, friends, a move, or anything else that may come your way. With practice you will b

How to have courage!

I found this today and I had to share it with you . I got it from a blog named Time Warp Wives.

In ordinary life, we tend to live in our own little area of comfort. Often referred to as our "comfort zone", this is the safety barrier that we build around ourselves to protect us from feelings of hurt, upset and a desire to react defensively. Every day, it helps to take a step outside this comfort zone to extend our limits and explore more life. Healthy challenges help us to build courage and strength!

1- Do one little thing outside your comfort zone every day. It doesn't have to be a big step, just something different from what you normally do or say. Even changing your thoughts about someone or something that has been bothering you can have a big impact on opening yourself up to new perspectives about the world and ways of coping with difficult situations.

2- Believe in yourself. Surround yourself with people who believe in you also, will help. Your sense of self-value will be enhanced if you give yourself the opportunity to "think that you can be someone or do something". Believing in your skills and abilities is key to using them well and this is bolstered by the love and compliments from those who care about you.

3- Create some goals for each day. Start off with small goals to make changes to your lifestyle that will help you to grow more courageous and forthright in your approach to the world. Start small and be more open and trusting of your acquaintances, then your community, then your region and finally, your world. Over time, your goals can grow bigger and bigger, as you grow more and more courageous about interacting with others and sharing your skills and knowledge.

4- Have a good attitude. When faced with something frightening, think of it as a challenge that can be changed into an opportunity. Turn the challenge into a duty that you have to do, and do not question it, just deal with it. It's much easier to be scared when you don't have to do that frightening task - when you must face it, you suddenly find yourself reaching on reserves inside yourself that you probably didn't realize were there. Trust your instincts, skills and judgment and face the challenge head on.

5- Don't hesitate. If, say, you're doing something that requires a "sudden plunge", for example, picking up a spider if you hate spiders, or jumping from a ledge if you hate heights, do not do a countdown. That only makes it worse. Instead, simply hold your breath, quickly assess the situation for the safest option and go for it.

I always wondered how 50's/60's really were . Because, how I see it in the pictures looks that everybody had such a simple and fun life . Women were having those perfect hairstyles , tight dresses and most important amazing accessories which you don't find them very often in our everyday garb , like : gloves and hats .
I don't know how the life of the girls in the pictures was ,but they looked so feminine and full of life.

Natural Art

I used to consider flowers as a kitsch subject in pictures or paintings. But this photos blow me away . I could easily hang a series of photos like this in a living room . It will look great . It shows how nature plays with art . There's no bigger artist than the nature itself . We have to give greetings also to the photographers who capture the real essence of beauty .

Little Fashion Tips

Lately I forced myself not to leave the house without dressing properly. I used to find different excuses to avoid the stress of finding something nice to wear , or to find some clothes who match . I finish the University of art and I was still spending a lot of time trying to put together in harmony an outfit. All the time , I ended up by wearing the same boring clothes . Same style : none . Jeans with a T-shirt and runners.
I believe in this saying : you are what you wear !! it's totally true . Take a close look at what you have in your drawer and try to make a connection between your features and your clothes . Did you find some similarities ? .......I , did ! I'm not going to give myself as an example but I will say that I was very indecisive and you could tell when you were looking at me . One day I was wearing something elegant , another day I was adopting a vintage style . Frequently, I was assorting two opposite styles which didn't match at all . I said to myself : this should end !

I found in several blogs very useful tips and pictures which helped me creating my one style . Yes, I'm copying others styles, but still I will put my own fingerprints .I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm not original , because I'm not and I'm never going to be . I just want to look good.

If you change , your style changes too. So , be aware what are you buying next , It has to match with what you have already and it should reveal your own personality . And if you still don't know how to put together an outfit , then use the internet and open my blog where you'll find some inspiration , or other blogs which will help you stand out .
Below I posted some very stylish outfits , which are easy to find in stores and not very pricey.
If you don't like it , fine . I will post soon different styles , but I have to tell you that I will put only the ones I like.

Source of inspiration

One year ago I discover this endless treasure of inspiration called : Blog. Since than , I am addicted . Pink and Green Heaven

2010 is my green/pink year . I love this combination of elegance and feminine . It brings me back to Victorian age when the noble castles were surrounded by magnificent green shaped gardens filled with pink roses .
Oh , how much I wish to have my own little Victorian garden right here in my balcony or in few years when I'll have my one house somewhere in Europa .

This colours are so inspiring and easy to match with almost everything .
My new bathroom is a combination of green tiles on the walls and black ones on the floor . The accent is marked by pink and orange objects which gives a fantastic fancy look.
I'm excited to show you pretty soon my interior design work.

what does it remind you of this combination of colours ?
