My kind of style

Since I decided to open my own store, I have tens of list with things I should do and take in consideration. My mind is set on things I will sale, what artist/artwork should I hang on my walls, what type of jewellery I will select, how my display will look, what kind of packaging I will use and of course through hundreds of thoughts, how I will look is there too. If I want my store to look great, then I should look the same. I have been thinking of what style I should adopt; I would like to keep it simple but a bit sophisticated, elegant but yet comfortable, chic and interesting. I would like my image to reflect confidence and good taste. The images posted today are pretty close to what I would like to wear during my working hours in the shop. What do you think about them? Are they close to what I was describing above?

Shabby Chic

Lately I've been more and more attracted by shabby chic style. I catch this "fever" when I was leaving in Ireland and traveling to UK. I just find it so feminine, delicate, bright and precious, as if you are back in time during Victorian period. Unfortunately it's very hard to adopt this style in Romania, because it's almost impossible to find home decorations like the once in the picture shown today. My goal: to bring Shabby Chic to Cluj and to fill Romanian houses with beautiful items. I hope you will all be excited and pay a visit starting October. Hello all!!! It's been a while since my last post. I've been busy.Oh my, now I realize how much I use this phrase:"been busy ".. to tell you the truth: it's not my no. 1 priority, to write on my blog. I struggle to prioritize my everyday tasks..which is pretty hard, because when I know that something important will happen soon, I can't concentrate on anything else. I have another big thing coming soon and nothing else matters more. I'm opening my own retail STORE..... it always has been my dream and it's starting to be real. Everything happened so fast: Talk+Decision+Talk again+Start gathering the documentation+Find a nice Space+waiting... I still do not know when I will open it but hope pretty soon.
I spent a lot of time and I still do, trying to figure how I would like it to look. So this are some pictures I found via internet and are close to how my shop will look. Oh, I did not told you what I will sale...home decoration accessories, jewellery, paintings, illustrations and everything that looks good in your house/garden/on yourself/as a gift. I will host artists and artisans.
I will keep you updated as much as I can, probably I will make another Blog just for that. For now it's more than you have to know... I keep it as a secret because I have my superstitions:I won't tell about a thing in till I'm not 100% sure it will happen. I'm still nervous because my Registration Certificate is not yet done... fingers crossed. xoxoxox
